Cannaster Supply Company, a B2B wholesaler serving the cannabis packaging industry, partnered with Symmetry Commerce to migrate from Wix to Shopify. Their legacy site created friction for wholesale buyers, lacked price list functionality, and couldn’t support the level of customization or control they needed to stay competitive. Most orders were still being handled through phone and email, and their digital storefront left buyers confused about whether it was intended for retail or wholesale. The team needed a platform that could support negotiated pricing, streamline operations, and allow for ongoing visual and seasonal updates without heavy technical overhead. Over a 12-week engagement, we executed a full ecommerce migration to Shopify, purpose-built for B2B operations. We implemented custom pricing per buyer, and added integrations like ShipStation, Matrixify, QuickBooks Online, and EasyFlow to support backend efficiency. The new site made it easier for wholesale customers to place and repeat orders, while giving the Cannaster team control over content updates and inventory management. Since launch, the company has seen B2B online order volume double, cut catalog update time in half, and reduced pricing errors and manual processes that previously slowed growth.
