DMK-Danné Montague-King
A Revitalizing Refresh on the B2B Experience
Objective
Improving the B2B Portal with a NetSuite to Shopify Integration

Danné Montague-King (DMK Skincare), a global skincare brand serving certified professionals, partnered with Symmetry Commerce to migrate its B2B portal and Celigo integrations from SuiteCommerce to a Shopify Plus store. Their existing site suffered from slow load times, outdated design, poor UX, and overly manual workflows that caused friction when processing orders. Symmetry Commerce delivered a 15-week long project that focused on resolving these pain points while streamlining operations and significantly enhancing the customer ordering experience with the improvement of custom features like a Bulk Order page.

Transformation
Bridging Data Silos to Drive Global Operational Excellence
Symmetry Commerce focused on resolving DMK's major pain points through a comprehensive solution that included full data migration, custom catalog pricing for each company, a thorough Celigo integration setup with multiple flows to improve order management, and a redesigned Shopify storefront featuring a modern, sleek design with improved functionality. A key enhancement was the development of a tailored bulk ordering page, resulting in a significantly enhanced ordering experience and operational efficiency for not only DMK’s clients, but for their account manager team as well.

Challenges
Friction in the B2B Buying Experience

The current system lacks a simple way to quickly reorder, which is why DMK is specifically requesting CSV order upload functionality and an "Excel-like" experience or something similar.

High Costs and Complexity of SuiteCommerce

DMK is currently using NetSuite for their ERP and previously SuiteCommerce for their e-commerce, but they find it "clunky," expensive, and overbuilt for their needs.

Complex Certification and "Locked" Purchasing

Users are not allowed to buy products unless they are "DMK Certified." Currently, the workflow for guiding a user from "interested" to "certified" to "purchaser" is not well-integrated into the site.

Results
Custom-built bulk ordering page A dedicated page on the Shopify site has been built to allow customers to easily place large quantities of different products to their cart at once without having to search each individual one on the store.
Seamless Connectivity Utilizing Celigo to bridge Shopify and NetSuite, ensuring that inventory, customer certification status, and orders flow across the business in real-time.
Site Branding Refresh Using a Shopify 2.0 theme has allowed a major mordernized and refreshed upgrade for their site appearance that effectively displays their branding + improved load times.
