Your ERP is the system of record; Shopify is where you sell. Symmetry Commerce engineers the connection between them — NetSuite via Celigo is our signature integration, alongside Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Sage, Oracle and custom middleware. We own the Shopify side of the integration and coordinate directly with your ERP partner. Integration projects start at $20,000.
What’s included
- NetSuite ↔ Shopify sync via Celigo: base product data, inventory, pricing and customers flowing down; orders flowing back up
- Custom order flows: partial payment capture, deposit-triggered charges at allocation, net-terms and ACH checkout for approved B2B customers
- Real-time and near-time pricing/inventory sync, matrix items, metafields and metaobjects
- Custom Node middleware where iPaaS is not enough: OAuth/HMAC-secured endpoints, product upsert, B2B pricing catalogs and dead-letter-queue retry handling
- Reconciliation and redundancy layers: webhook resync, ATP inventory buffers for flash sales, order routing with fraud and tax-certificate checks
- Ongoing integration monitoring and maintenance available under a support retainer
How we work
Integration work starts with an integration discovery and a NetSuite-to-Shopify (or ERP-to-Shopify) data-mapping exercise, then moves through build, two UAT rounds with real transaction testing, and hypercare. Documentation and admin handover are deliverables, not afterthoughts.
Proven results
For a professional skincare brand we replatformed from SuiteCommerce and integrated Shopify with NetSuite via Celigo — including ACH and net-payment-terms checkout — then maintained the integration under a rolling support retainer. For an enterprise distributor we built a Celigo-plus-middleware architecture with a full reconciliation layer across two storefronts.
Frequently asked questions
Celigo, native connector or custom middleware?
Depends on order volume, data shape and edge cases. We recommend after data-mapping discovery, and we have shipped all three.
Who is the system of record?
Your ERP. Shopify serves commerce; the integration keeps product, price, inventory and order truth consistent in the ERP.
Can you fix an existing broken integration?
Yes. Integration audits and remediation are a common entry point, often continuing as a monthly support retainer.
